Your not just buying beef. Your being part of a story - a real animal raised with care, on our farms. He grazed on native and seasonal pastures, under the sun, through changing seasons. His diet, movement and environment all contribute to the natural flavour and nutrition of your beef.

This beautiful red steer, was born in December 2023, and raised on our small farms at Millmerran, Qld.

His mother is a Angus X Cow, and his father is a purebred Santa Gertrudis Bull.

He was with his mother for about 8 months, and then weaned for about 1 week, fed on quality hay. Then turned out into the paddocks again with his mates.

This steer was handled with care and treated kindly. He was naturally friendly, and would come over for a pat on his own accord.

A calm steer who is used to human interaction, will have low stress levels when being transported and processed, in turn producing nutritious and well-flavoured beef for you.

Our Grassfed Beef typically yields less useable beef on the carcass, and less marbled and tender cuts, than their Grainfed counterparts. This is because they are physically active and burning energy foraging for hours at a time, and walking to their waters, and socialising. I would call this a healthy way of life.

He has never been fed grain or given hormones and antibiotics ( we aren’t against antibiotics, as in some cases it’s needed ). This steer has only ever had a 7 in 1 Injection as a calf, to help with common disease that can be spread by the environment including feral pigs. And wormed once in Summer as a precaution.
