Who we are
Rainbow Lagoons Beef is a family-owned business dedicated to raising healthy, very well cared for, Grass-Finished Beef. We value and respect the land and it’s wildlife, where we live and graze our cattle herds.
We started in 2020 with a variety of cattle breeds and colours, which we enjoy, and alot of rain, hence the name Rainbow Lagoons. We have since focused a portion of the herd to the Santa Gertrudis breed, for their ability to thrive in the sometimes extreme weather conditions of the Darling Downs. These resilient cattle efficiently forage on grasses, shrubs and low-hanging trees while also being more resistant to pests and disease.
From our farm to your table, we take pride in providing premium-quality beef, raised naturally in harmony with the environment.

Our cattle are treated humanely at every stage, whether moving paddocks, being yarded or being trucked.
The Beef Cattle are processed with care and integrity, first going to our local abottoir just down the road. Then to our local butcher where the carcass is aged for 5 - 7 days to enhance tenderness and flavour. The butcher then cuts the carcass down into our preferred cuts, packages and labels them. We pick up the finished products, freeze and pack them for pick-up or delivery to a drop-off point.
You can also be rest assured that cattle from Rainbow Lagoons Beef is raised to peacefully exist with the natural environment. And with sustainable grazing practices, we ensure that our farm supports biodiversity, protects the countryside, and maintains a healthy ecosystem.
